Midorikawa Corp

Strategic defence for a Sol that intends to remain.

"Midorikawa Corp does not bow."

Our mandate

Midorikawa Corp is the strategic-defence concern of the Sol Fortune 15. The firm designs, manufactures and fields hardware for the defence of inhabited Sol — from individual sidearm to garrison-grade emplacement, from operator training to alliance-level doctrine.

The House operates under a single founding principle, spoken by the Founder on the closing day of the apocalypse and entered into the corporate charter without amendment:

If this is the last sound my voice carries, let it be this: Midorikawa Corp does not bow.

Lineage

The corporation was founded by General-Admiral Midorikawa Hirotaka, one of the fifteen post-apocalypse founders of the Sol Fortune 15. In keeping with the convention observed across the Fifteen, the firm carries the Founder’s surname unaltered. The Founder retains both the strategic authority of the House and the office of Chief Executive.

Doctrine

Midorikawa publishes the operational literature of Sol’s defence posture. The current public-release titles include:

  • Midorikawa Corp Strategic Assessment, Rev. 7 — the standing threat evaluation for the Inner Planets, revised on a rolling cycle and distributed under credentialed access.

  • Defensive Operations Doctrine — the firm’s reference text on garrison employment, perimeter design and reinforcement timing.

  • The Midorikawa Method: Principles of Combat Instruction, 3rd Edition — the canonical training curriculum issued to licensed Midorikawa instructors across Sol. The first principle of the text remains unaltered across editions:

A teacher who fails to plan has already failed their student.

Hardware tiers

Midorikawa-grade is a designation that travels with the equipment, not with the buyer. The firm produces optics, emitters, micro-cameras, sensor suites and ranged platforms under tolerances written for sustained field employment. Items issued under the Midorikawa mark are accepted as qualifying hardware on Alliance-credentialed ranges, including the firm’s own sponsored facilities.

The retail catalogue is not published. Procurement proceeds via verified corporate credential.

Garrison & alliance operations

The firm maintains active garrisons across stabilised and contested territories of the Inner Planets, including the reclamation perimeter at Dämmergrund. Garrison operations are conducted under Sol Alliance mandate and in coordination with Alliance command.

Midorikawa holds a permanent seat on the Sol Alliance security council in its capacity as a founding member of the Sol Fortune 15.

Civic presence

The firm sustains a public-facing civic programme under the Midorikawa mark — Midorikawa Café and Midorikawa Dämmergrund Park are representative. The programme is not a separate business line; it is a charter commitment made by the Founder during the reconstruction and continued by the House.

The programme operates under standard House conduct: courteous, attentive, and uniformed. Café service staff wear the modified-kimono uniform of the House civic line, with reinforced stitching and tactical pocketing in keeping with the firm’s broader aesthetic.

Recruitment

The House recruits operators, instructors and engineers on a continuous basis. Verified applications are received through the corporate credential system. Walk-up applications at sponsored ranges and civic sites are also accepted; candidates passing the standing assessment are routed to the nearest Midorikawa training facility.

The House issues a single tag on successful operator qualification:

Kill! Midorikawa is proud!
